Some things are for keeps and need to be handled and framed to the highest standards. Every day professional framers learn more about the damage that our environment does to art and to framed objects. Ultraviolet filtering and acid free mats are now available at prices that make it possible to protect those objects we care about. Where masking tape and cardboard were once the norm and were accepted materials for framing, time and technology have given us better and safer ways to frame the things that matter most.
